Survey of Maritime Heritage Attractions in the Great Lakes Region (2000) by Hawk Tolson. 94 pages with the results presented in scores of figures and tables.

The facilities surveyed include maritime museums, historic vessel (ship) exhibits, large preserved historic vessels, historic ship replicas, lighthouses, and other historic maritime structures. The survey was conducted in 1999 for calender year 1998. The survey results include facility type, physical makeup of the facility, facility size, organizational structure, facility operations (including operating season, days/hours of operation, affiliated societies, memberships), visitation (including methods for recording visitation, and breakdowns of total visitation), revenues and expenditures (including full-time equivalents for staff, operating budgets, funding sources), and comparisons with other national, regional, and state studies. This publication will assist in planning, management, and development activities of any organization with a mission involving Great Lakes and maritime cultural resources.
Strategic Management and Development Plan for the Historic Shipwreck El Buen Consejo at Anguilla, British West Indies (2000) by Kenneth J. Vrana. 40 pages with 6 site photos and a table summarizing research and management actions.

This publication was reviewed in 1994 for the Society for Historical Archaeology and recommended as a reference that every cultural resource manager should have in their collection.
